H.S. Field Trip to Emory University

High School Students will take a trip to visit the Emory University Campus. The info session begins at 2:00pm and the hour long tour begins at 2:45pm.
The informational session is titled "Beyond the Numbers". In this session students will learn the following: Students often think about standardized exams when it comes to getting into college, but it's much more than those few hours of work. Students will be guided through an in-depth conversation regarding completing applications (from curriculum choices to standardized testing and extracurricular activities), and the unique opportunities they have to share their story through their application. Students will also participate in a game in which they serve as the admission committee and decide who gets into a selective college.
